Duties

    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
1 U3 A8 I( W2 R" R* f+ a4 c    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
! t# l& k: T! n' C( P( Y    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

Qualifications

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
' Q8 F  P7 f3 q+ c本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

- }) X7 O# ]. `1 H9 j7 q9 Z
% L2 x# E4 @: ~5 u) E+ u9 _好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
. @6 V3 B; Z* O8 _wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
