怎样才能得到lay off 信？

打工生涯

有份临时工作，只有7周，不知道能不能给lay off信？可以问雇主这个问题吗？
( j/ O4 ~8 U, W4 w0 J还有个问题想请教诸位，如果领完EI后，还能申请funding读书吗？

7 week is not long enough to apply EI.
7 ^6 F4 y* a" F  f; Q0 Y- LYou can check service Canada: different province has different requirement on work hours to apply for EI. In Alberta, I think the shortest working hour is 420 hours to apply EI. The standard time is 900 hours.
