Responsibilities:
-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
       (ages 6 to 15)
-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
5 i& {$ i# T0 i! h' o6 h5 Y-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
) Y3 C5 Z! q; J4 w-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
0 I: K) o' w/ s' ^! a6 h+ }5 a( j7 U-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
4 r" |: @- A3 J& B* n7 |-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
/ K! {7 }8 A% ~( O3 k8 R-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
8 E2 V8 z* R4 l. Q0 k  B9 K8 B-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
# Q0 x! R$ ]/ v/ y3 w# q-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
