Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009- N$ r% B# b" c8 s6 n, z

Responsibilities:& v: ]0 R6 R" j" t7 p9 E- k. X' h
- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
2 n$ I# c# F: f, ]; j preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
0 V6 o; e H2 z! X2 W, t- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
1 F0 A$ t) s0 l+ U7 u- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
- R' K+ c' f% q! G: B- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

8 N. Y4 i, {1 P* y, W. H, m ?- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood 3 F3 I" p% Y' R# P* w; ?
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
' Q4 W- { F4 S, P" @9 j4 }" s- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
# d7 p/ A8 K4 U8 x- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills2 i; y$ I+ C' A5 t
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
& {5 e( I$ e; U& Y- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese* {( r4 [( A' m# y& n, _
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities4 Y: L# B9 j7 t) j
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- K0 C3 U$ _$ r1 F3 z2 {" i1 v7 n- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
