- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the " a1 h2 c; b9 w0 o, u
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
& V0 s! {& R( O3 R* Z* m* G7 J! K' k- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program6 [, n1 m) R( P) w
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies" Y+ ? m7 Q: R- V; h
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program & S: q3 }" z. Y) ~- a

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager5 B; Y* q7 G5 b2 e8 S

3 G* m# I2 I1 e6 U5 X- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood 4 A0 Q6 v% v, Y
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
: C7 ?2 v8 a! `9 E0 q$ f% g2 l2 R- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
7 y+ a9 t1 L% Q: X4 H) v/ \ m5 }( |- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
1 |! z' B8 c. n- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities7 y4 I( H% g1 J* k, ]$ p8 _
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 v' h; X! u Q- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
0 u/ H& L8 O: q K) f& G' y- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
$ x- g9 L0 ^2 _ and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)* k# R. Q, Q. X9 V
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
