Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

access to mainstream services

- N$ F7 ~ i" r i- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies

- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services- P$ R$ v2 |8 s
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time/ [: Y8 G* U7 p0 G$ m1 B
- update membership database* r( z- p" X& t' L' H
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications" G! o m3 f P4 ]( ^3 I
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ( m! A* [' ]4 _3 O4 u% i* |
experience and education
R6 p$ l$ F, y0 H! ~ c% r- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
9 r9 `8 ]/ E1 d- W& K- experience in community work and immigrant services
! p3 v P0 Y/ p2 d3 l/ W. ~- experience in website update/design
8 M# K* }- I/ G& Y0 ~6 f8 \- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset, e% |) N# j, m3 B- ~- G1 n# b
