Housing Program Worker

' a, k; m$ d+ ^# rKey Responsibilities:
1 U0 H* ~' [' ?  O* Q0 h To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
  d' I; Y5 `- o: n To help promote the program in the community.
; }; J# {' \- n To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
% k/ e7 `& _6 y+ R+ y/ n To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
' B+ h( Z' A$ c Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
* s5 v( g2 ]$ ?* w* y3 L Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
1 [" [7 g3 H1 n% e& W6 H+ S9 T Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance

Hourly salary range is $8 to $10/hour
