Key Responsibilities:
# V# G9 d1 u) D9 H( V6 G( B To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program. ' L5 l; n4 F0 {2 V z
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs4 F% e1 n' h) t! g
 To help promote the program in the community.5 U, B+ Q4 J- L% K
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.( ~# s$ U7 ]% h u& Z! k
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.6 X/ j/ i7 v% q. u3 W$ y$ P
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
5 M9 c2 k7 b/ G; E% E5 L To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
: r1 e# a0 K) P1 e/ S3 F+ n; R To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.; X u# t( `" J' Y

Qualifications: (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
* C) `' c4 T* |9 U 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work 5 }) m$ e+ B/ i# L
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.* q- {5 g; s: q6 ?8 B `9 _# V2 n
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.; |- t9 b) _+ r: @/ B
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications- a6 T& m8 g: m* ^- h
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
