Housing Program Worker

. U7 N! [! p; f  L, x2 O. ^Key Responsibilities:
: Y1 M# W0 ?, H2 Y  U  D To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
6 g- g# z) L% F/ u) Y9 M1 k. ] To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
; z- x0 k+ w4 q; c/ f8 h  n To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

& o. W' G$ l/ E& J# I' c. OQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
2 X5 U! W8 Z# `& Z 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
" i1 v; y- j3 _8 ]$ a Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
' U2 d% w4 u8 z* `$ ` Current CPR and First Aid certifications
1 d* w5 p# i# X8 F7 O Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
