CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
! C( i. @& k" \' D5 K  z& |Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and
hot
spring at Miette Hot Springs.
& U  r# y) b/ |1 rWe will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
Volunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.
You are
responsible for your own meals during this trip. Please refer to the

Day One
-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
( a# u* F% \) o5 ^-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

hour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
9 n: m- [! w# @  d  C-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about

person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,

not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while

And we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
trip. It's
8 k0 w, z' i, {/ Q5 e" X  l! E' ^$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done

before, I strongly recommend you to do so.

could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
so.

-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.

van on

Things to Bring:
-        Travel needs.
& h) g& U" G0 i$ s2 ~+ ]- D+ J. {1 |" U-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
! `* f: u0 K3 ]# Z' @7 L-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain

late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
: e4 W$ _: q, }* i0 tand
- R' D7 M7 W) @, K7 Yshoes are definitely needed.
" B4 M/ M6 c) Q# a9 n5 d+ _-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course

places where
there are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
eat.

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,
two-night
accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

Maligne Boat Cruises are $35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12 years

It's for CSSA members. But you could always join CSSA at any time, even
when you sign up for this trip. The annual membership fee is $5.
