我知道这么说MAKE SENSE,但不是我的本意。一个地方发请帖请INVESTIGATOR去荷兰开会,老板想让我去,我是想回他EM说,在这个项目里我只是RA不是INVESTIGATOR。随手就写成I AM NOT AN INVESTIGATOR RATHER THAN A RA。发完了之后,想想好像不对了,我们老板估计又得噎一下了。% S J' T2 ^! t9 {. L0 i; k

I am not an investigator, but a RA. Or, I am only a RA, not the investigator. 0 [: B( h- Y7 N+ k* k0 q6 o3 Z. I- L) N# J
If I were you, I would say: "Ooops, I thought I was only a RA. How about xxx (the name of the investigator)?".
