The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
2 { L6 D6 x+ f/ V• Human Resources Management
% Y6 A1 m! O3 [5 O• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
( n2 C# A5 P6 r, H8 w% d4 {• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 1 Y6 E. f, i7 m5 N& `% @" r
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities0 g( t$ |* D. O
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
5 R. c4 k [4 Q+ P: b" C• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities7 b: ? |2 g. F

Program Delivery8 O, w( @2 W* s
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
6 F5 d& z6 B. n n5 s" R) P, h• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes5 Z& f& z( p" R6 ~# O) O, \
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required( s0 b- N$ }# d9 v- G
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
9 R! H F9 g5 K5 @# D; V. j3 w8 Y• Review service action plans and support programs as requested; n- a: ~6 z4 {9 k; V1 V" f! b' ^: H
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
$ C% E6 X4 J8 w. T1 ~• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review2 O: u. p5 M; l+ L
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:+ B' @ a% U9 ^* U8 O7 W
" w, r1 m3 V) p U7 W• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
3 `6 r3 v! |2 a6 p. U$ `5 _! h• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities& S5 _! o4 W& ~7 a' @
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience- G- j' X, J5 e r+ `
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
