The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.3 V3 r: q( l9 L8 O8 k

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

' f0 u, P7 t6 Z% q2 n, G: [• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
C. b; ~, m! [6 d• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
4 t' H5 M7 v6 s6 C7 [ A+ O# r5 d/ F• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities9 [: |% A" B* e
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
$ h& W- @2 L$ o" B C% T/ ?9 t• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities. o$ u2 E2 v8 s5 I5 C7 _9 B# }
, \1 {; B4 y( Z+ @Program Delivery4 S; T7 k9 U, s# T$ z/ \
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
. X% Z Z* H' s4 q• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes3 ?7 q. ^/ [, E4 s, V- ]
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
7 K5 ?8 z& W G7 K( A4 A; B• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication w' ^2 q7 A) k+ b2 q* y: W
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested- {) f/ o2 ]; d- s+ f( p* s; O
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department; r4 j' Z8 F4 w; T! ?. r. l" V
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
* l* y/ g( k0 |' F" N• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director9 I. c* b" m0 z- [- E
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review) ^" l% G7 Q& G# s) J2 }
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required" C/ W) N9 }6 r( U+ ^" w4 u4 z

Qualifications:
5 o6 G7 F+ |; T3 r2 F H0 b. E$ l3 J* `4 U
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
+ b' X3 M& O+ v0 W! Y$ \7 V• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
$ s% n z/ l$ m9 j# w' O• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience" O& [$ }- e# t7 M/ Z
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations* I- f, ` Q& P' b* |' ^
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
