The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.# ?/ S2 {4 k5 E, e2 b$ {

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.; h4 Y0 z- k  w8 G0 }

, R+ @- P' [( I: r) F+ YJob Duties/Responsibilities:
; |; ~- n" U/ Q2 G2 V) y7 |•        Human Resources Management, A( a6 v% x6 q% w# f- [
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
# ?8 |$ s- l' i/ k. l•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 7 ?3 }# |! d' u* C, T% w
•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities) E# x8 T" q+ Q) C: f' v
•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
6 r" f3 A+ L, {4 A7 m, P8 d•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

( a3 a0 B9 a/ M  x, rProgram Delivery
! _- X4 Y8 \7 H0 [•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
8 m5 E) J9 s" S' k; Q* h. M•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes: f" k' L  i6 f2 L& R
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required% Y" z) S7 f. y  M6 L: v
•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
8 A3 r4 D9 G% }; X, D•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested+ E4 `; s, G5 E: k+ b3 F
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
7 S& J$ v$ X4 _7 i•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
/ o- A9 v' S6 Z  G3 j•        Implement service modification, as required

Administration$ e. [  @2 @2 D( w* P
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
3 S7 t% H" G: w) R: V" U•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review3 T! Y: y$ H5 v7 L: h, e2 J( b
•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required+ g- z* y& }  k9 K

5 J, o) ~8 C* kQualifications:7 W9 g( A2 y6 w! K

* i( p* }. Z: t- ]3 |•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
% ^: i" D8 y( U2 r% r: A+ w) q•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
: c. Q: ?8 r9 |2 a7 ]- ]! h) ]•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
% p2 x) ]0 y* ?6 t$ d4 Y  ?& M•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations0 I/ o3 y: ^0 F  F0 v
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population

•        Equivalences will be considered
