The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators." [1 g1 A' E" Y2 }* r6 Q" A

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities - H5 }4 ?9 b- o- F, I/ _
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 7 G4 P& a4 ^" C2 N3 ~7 A7 Y$ e
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
$ n& v8 d# [' I9 g, T• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
1 l; Q+ i8 s2 L! ~, c+ q) X• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

8 d) L' W5 t8 @3 ^4 y+ t4 [• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program + a0 m8 S0 ]- Y( u+ K1 j2 r, U
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
, w) l4 [+ {8 S* e5 ?• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
! N, W/ u! K9 o& b, X7 d. z• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication) O5 f s4 s6 l# d# }! d: f* o
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested* e2 [ ~/ ] U2 W& d) W; B/ j
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
: m! J- ^9 P9 I; V8 [5 q" n/ o• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

. f! L& ~% d5 `- Q: T% l6 ~• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director: W: \: n9 @, V8 _+ K
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:$ M0 x7 ^" u; k5 R) j9 b
7 L/ G4 v7 ^0 D) E% q• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field2 X# z) v7 P* {% n
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
+ F" @7 t3 a! U7 z" y0 a" v# A• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience6 {( ?! [5 @1 d) @, F8 g$ q: |. {
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations5 t( H# j: T' b% r2 t5 z% J
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population# Z8 s4 Y( s5 W8 [0 Q$ O$ ^& c" ]4 U
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office3 Y1 P5 a$ a) b2 z- G1 F/ I
