Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
6 w0 q& w4 h6 M! J To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
( d$ T% s) o, @ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
9 p4 \- w/ D8 `% l9 G To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
. R6 d6 Z$ G, Z5 U4 a5 x. c- {' L3 B 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
2 t) q1 f2 C+ |" F* X Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
( K& }" ?1 u9 U, g  F" M Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
