Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:

  }2 |! p5 I1 u7 F7 nControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)
+ t+ t: R5 q2 r$ s) M
1 L1 y% r$ k; T' c' QA "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

, p& J' \' m3 `- l& q: VI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

I think so, i can see i have two keyboard inputs now, but the problem is that i can not shift to Chinese when i press Alt-Shift
