Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.$ s0 E; M, [3 M$ @0 l: J
Responsibilities In this position, you will: * [6 ?8 J8 e: V0 |
• Plan and design major road and highway projects; ' n# p& `0 L' p1 v+ X
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;
& F1 T7 k5 b/ x- @9 Z• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications. ( x4 m3 V9 ^/ B' E! T
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
& Q: @! u' g2 n• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
