Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
& F" t6 C% k) w* b2 F4 p: {& D- Organize focus group(s)
: K( O# j1 |+ H* Q5 Q- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
" B, k6 Z! Q! l$ C/ [: v- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
6 }# f+ f+ R3 i8 s: u, W- Supervise volunteer(s)
& U6 i8 u+ X( z" S. `- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
3 E3 S& m% S- J' @7 n; `7 R
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ ?+ J  p- f1 A3 z" L- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
$ M8 v4 G* D. ~" d# A- F4 @- communication skills
1 Q! F. V" S6 X5 U; A3 F- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
& y' x( D& x( E/ P4 I  z5 j- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
4 a; J$ Q4 t4 R4 c) \5 ~0 D- good computer skills
2 Y7 H! v  Y) {$ p1 V* `- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
