Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:

" S8 G: e3 _- S" F; t- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
" v2 Z7 Q* p. |& k' O5 {" F- Recruit children for summer program
* u: |' a0 Q& G- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
" e( p& d/ h% L/ C- Prepare final report for funding agency
! H: ^2 j* t7 \* x1 Y$ W+ Z
Qualifications:
' v3 g. n$ n$ V- n/ s5 _9 Z! c7 V
& s8 ]) O! \7 s+ M0 q- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
: E# \+ L+ C! n/ V- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
# q5 }4 D7 ?2 O- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* @0 y: Y2 f: g+ m0 U- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 r: E( f$ ^- C+ F! h- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
