/ e+ K4 k& T. j. RPerforming product upgrade activities in the Production environment
Participating in data migration and conversion initiatives
8 w( l) [8 q/ m% ZPerforming changes to software configurations as requested by the customer
Performing  the analysis, design, development and review of production  scripts (datafixes, queries; ad hoc and production batch jobs - extract and update)
Troubleshooting production issues
& T: s) R( v/ b8 r$ K* x5 e: n+ R( yParticipating in the development and documentation of standards and procedures for work performed by the Application Support team
, |) w$ y5 M3 A6 C1 ~) [Maintaining information required to support products after implementation (e.g., changes to customer contact information, changes to authorized approvers, etc.)
Providing technical and work management of 1 – 2 analysts on small projects
" K/ ?) z0 G) |' ~4 WProviding application and environment training to other SSD Operations employees, primarily other Application Support Analysts and Customer Support Specialists
, j; |6 h& T6 J' y2 ]: b7 t" K. gDeveloping tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Application Support team.
$ m& Z) w7 M  d! a6 m. yWork directly with clients, both internal and external to SSD.

General:
Diploma or certificate in the Computer Systems field plus 4 or more years of practical experience in application support and/or software development
! Z0 |. d1 p1 g: uExperience using standard development and/or enhancement methodologies
Detail-oriented, strong analytical ability, exceptional trouble-shooting skills
Strong organizational skills; must be able to juggle a number of complex tasks at once
- Y% \3 x8 Y" u4 }% P0 A" YStrong communication skills, both written and verbal as incumbent will be gathering requirements and presenting solutions to clients, both internal and external to SSD.

Experience supporting applications in a UNIX/ORACLE environment
4 T' r" @) F% d/ C. sDemonstrated experience with UNIX shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL
1 H4 ?7 H" A8 x6 A2 A0 LExperience implementing, maintaining and supporting automated (cron) jobs in a UNIX environment
Strong SQL skills
