Key Responsibilities Include:
: I, V8 c' m5 |- x: }Activity Planning and Daily Activity
8 d0 a7 d# h& S, v l: U) u: a% Y• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.4 h2 @* o6 P1 Q; g7 r* D+ n
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
% z. i9 O! h8 |& h• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, / k q3 y. e5 D9 B
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.4 x5 G3 K; h3 N( O- z
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.- X+ ^/ u! r6 g* G4 a
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:: B% D7 |* h- k8 d
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
1 Q1 N$ c% Y# G• Experience with children
! B& V' b! J- A! o! ~• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth / m1 J! r! r) o% G0 h# S) x: t3 L9 Q
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.( h$ @4 a' y5 Z% }5 n$ p1 C
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.7 {7 m; L. S( Q# c
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
7 T' a/ Q. k& k• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check \' G# S( T' e' \. c
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 5 N% X& w5 `- t
