A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system( }9 a# r, z/ Y, F" _$ g: Y
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries d ]; T# W6 b2 q
• Arrange courier services for all departments9 k m. r* c+ i* M
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration" y. g6 w5 J8 P* r4 b E
• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail* l/ v2 ^1 C+ @0 ~* e
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries. w+ g5 r7 f$ s0 `4 I4 M' `6 E' o
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency & h7 b9 Z! h R7 h# c4 s$ ^
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration! @* Y9 R* |8 G6 V
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
& t F: s6 ?7 q* D3 `• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution- J9 s' U4 C( q s8 Q3 I7 q
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required2 t _& o* ~1 r5 y" ?

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures( h: L) d/ L4 |
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.4 S- W4 G" b. m# F) ]
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset

• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion
