A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors# l6 v" D9 W" I" W
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 4 K" r: f. f. B) R+ D
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration$ {9 A$ N6 [0 N! f
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers ( U$ T* i0 J1 X& S5 d
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
. n9 m& Y1 I# }, [• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 7 Z5 x( {2 G+ Q1 u; v2 V& A& F
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

Registrar

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required: A# ~% A4 u( X4 T4 o

Qualifications:

- G: C6 v; y. {8 F. X• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
5 {; s7 B2 s6 k, w! {• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
% `* H, W: T- M; p( e' }• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset4 j: G |+ E+ f9 w. g; D% D% \
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
