A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail5 p1 S Y' `' H" a% S' Z2 W
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries. y* ` L# P+ N2 J; n* \ i
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
+ q2 T1 [9 i# t+ ~" v7 c• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration) z# M# E7 K" d, A/ {" C
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers $ H c: ~6 o1 }: ~8 |, d& A
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
& ^4 w+ y% U1 b/ X• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures2 b" Q5 U; A( c8 G5 |5 [3 a/ t* y
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.# i+ O4 |" s" f6 ~& p8 V4 l: B2 W
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
