The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors

• Arrange courier services for all departments
: m0 P2 D5 m4 z+ R! t6 M$ j% c• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

6 s4 e b5 \7 A3 W5 w8 v• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency % M" t2 ]' Q2 p% p% |$ p7 v- t1 D
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required. E6 g. Q- w5 c1 P8 G$ P

Qualifications:
+ p1 @$ |- {4 o* t5 {2 v* h' P& t5 a; `5 U+ h6 j; q2 S! V
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures( M2 L3 |' p/ ^% e, @
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.0 o+ Q9 q6 B( ~. \, L/ f' ~7 p
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
