( g4 R' X/ n1 k1 G; n$ E4 _7 Y8 c* hKEVIN KERN，出生在底特律，不可思议在出生18个月的时候，开始练弹钢琴。四岁时候，开始在一个私人指导老师的教授下学习弦乐和古钢琴。然后，14岁时候，做了职业的首次演出，并且与其他伙伴成立了一个小乐团。他在底特律交响乐钢琴家Mischa Kottler指导下学习 ,并且上了密歇根大学的音乐系。受其钢琴类主席罗伯特.赫德指导。
+ u$ d, c+ g! m: p凯文与著名的钢琴家 Jaki Byard，乔治.鲁塞尔，弗雷德.赫斯奇和威廉.托马斯.麦金利一起学习。在毕业以后，他在波士顿生活工作了 10 年。

1 P, F0 g$ M! n- F+ Q- ^在1990年 ，凯文搬到旧金山，并且开始了表演。此时，凯文开创了他自己的钢琴流派，以钢琴为主体演绎音乐的心情和旋律，并且越发技艺成熟和浓厚。此时，凯文完全傲立于钢琴演绎的顶峰！
