0 b* Z6 E" K7 {, T2 _- v• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

, |0 A( a& B, Y. u• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
: z4 s/ d4 K/ S( n" ~9 ~, W- m• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
% l! U7 @& }3 ~• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
6 N: S1 |3 W% _. T• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
3 U$ K% w# C6 L# a8 Q• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
  n- _/ H( ?2 n$ T3 F1 G% O6 M! q; i• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
4 [! a% N* e9 L6 D: Z- Q. ?• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
2 K/ e; f% z& q7 S• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
' O3 F. q* |" f2 K# c• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
1 l. C. u: ]9 J) q• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
, A3 J8 h+ w# e5 W" b- H( s4 N" \resolution.
0 [/ a0 @+ {" F% K• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
- k9 R; [$ \, Q, `( |• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
9 R: m& t& P, n% v• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
# A% ^; {+ i! Z$ G; {• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
4 _: \. f1 Z& f7 T, F# D• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
$ [+ y$ |" I. q• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
7 r7 Q6 L  `: }. s• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
! u  i" m1 v, B& e! D/ ?( U% I• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.


Education / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
& t* k% ?! i4 y+ P: _. F• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
* S# t, D; ~5 T; y• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
+ p/ G, N" _0 V1 G2 U! u+ p+ Z• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
0 X; o" g) H( w- ~9 \, V; ?1 X" [• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
. z, `) u$ V  v  @  E8 x• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
