• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
9 g7 @+ S# r: u. k' v5 S• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
1 g; G4 [6 k8 C( }distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
) z! h* X/ A9 P! S% S, ^place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

) w3 D) }, C$ y! A! A- V- r( b7 ~• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
( r  g& ^' F  c• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
7 J8 W- I& P* N+ S. J• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
6 v3 v$ c8 y/ v6 A6 N6 U& t' V; n• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
# m: Y9 j8 f& p! a& R4 W! G- C$ v• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
2 Y9 s, M* \; U4 E9 g, T/ b7 x/ _2 O• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
5 ?+ g( J! d3 }& H9 J, C. y• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
- s& m+ G- Q% R% I* `/ u. Z- N• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
! C7 D8 O& z' b• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
9 d2 k3 H, Y7 o7 B1 a4 h# [$ i• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
4 Y' C# a" S6 p( \• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
% f  T% I( @' m$ j( f, Tresolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
6 t1 X" {# B6 ]/ ?% |6 z7 d• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
. O) c' A  [- n• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
1 e4 n4 J- J" g8 d- n$ j8 r  D7 w• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
) \% R3 P8 S. i8 M• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
! L) E: u2 @+ O/ ]7 t6 d  `• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
+ k2 p( N6 c, s• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
+ d: r# K+ o% s• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
( Z. J" q. F% v* L• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
: p( X0 |" I  a2 V# ]4 d1 _" [• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

/ d9 n7 M0 z5 Z( W0 FEducation / Experience
4 K' t" X/ @/ t6 K+ ]• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
7 R. y, I1 B; q5 I6 P* Y# ~" a• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
! z) u9 ?" [/ R( j7 I• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
9 ?8 U  y; d2 S- x& P2 K• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
