% d$ Q. z# q" p+ T# f. l2 SCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.1 H4 @2 B4 N% g1 K+ V

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.- ~+ ^; u8 w& x) f0 Y

• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions1 }9 x& l: [& H) O7 G( L0 G: D2 m
1 |* ^0 B/ w# e( ~' e( K• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.6 L8 O2 X$ t1 B, Z
