2 o% E$ x9 [/ Y SCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.( v: l/ X6 p* N8 T5 {

• Complete data entry in various programs.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.% v" D/ i4 u! `' m/ Y

• Process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling., M7 {# [, R0 Z& ~6 L+ y

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.8 [$ p4 t- ~. X, @

+ Z7 J0 Z+ i2 b0 a A• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

2 d- q/ {$ g* y* \2 F& S# w• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.& R' v# Q0 Y4 x
) Q; k% e8 L5 V) N2 [/ V• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting

/ U6 u o: e& u• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

7 ]+ `& D% A: ?- J2 c6 Z: ~Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development., w3 `* D) G: z
