P2 I- s; U7 [+ S2 z* [- w9 HCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

1 o% o: r8 h3 o• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.' F$ l. ^# Q6 r* k9 ?

+ ^9 x% c0 _7 Y: M+ S1 a1 a• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Support management of online publicity and communication tools.

• Compile information packages for fundraising and promotional purposes.

# C# ~( I. \# o% ^9 e8 n1 n• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.4 B6 n; v- i, a; ~& l0 o1 |8 c) `* v

/ d+ [+ W$ k$ i" u: N. @• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events." a6 L3 w8 ?, e( \! [2 Z+ e1 R

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.
