Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.

Position Summary

• Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
) w$ [ [4 C, R# y6 z$ |• Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings / R1 c' X, W! B: W! s3 H0 c- Q7 g# d
• Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach / s( }6 h2 Z- i1 a* q; U) [4 O
• Promoting TBL products and services . r! e6 u# j$ @7 X9 j: O9 C: }
• Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance % S2 i) u7 F2 Y" E2 @
• Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables
; E* W. o7 G' r# q• Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta 6 L9 k; m }; e2 k" X4 R
• Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry
* a0 |1 o' P5 b* x" t5 i• Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program 6 }; _; i" X4 `& |7 S$ j; Z/ R9 s
• Arranging catering for various meetings , ~ ?+ X6 F `" z0 q. T# K' R/ b
• Opening and closing of The Business Link Office 4 {7 v0 v4 g0 R
• Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

• Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
