( Q3 K6 U) O  c! m! k4 [9 ?! bTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
# {/ j) }+ E6 f1 IThis fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
+ @3 Q0 p7 U0 z6 I; k6 e' FEligibility Criteria
, ^% `3 y" z0 q) _! oAll potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
. g8 V, V# |- T; |•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada

& ^( N" U5 \9 C( X( s•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning
Time Commitment
* y, P3 a% b, WThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
