Job Duties / Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
- v+ H0 O& R& Z, a4 O• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
6 V7 K/ c6 O! u7 v' U5 ]• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
! _& B, B  K2 u, F( s• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
4 Q. X; m+ ~" M; ^5 b• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

  T' W  G+ J( n• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
2 f, C) Y" e/ l; v- }" p( R4 W2 s• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
4 A4 b4 A- s" u% X2 M$ g/ E7 n- ~• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

* Y# G; r3 f) IEducation / Experience
$ L- _; }% r/ h0 _& W! f+ P. z- W• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
( w' i# V9 ^% V; |6 N• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
+ j/ a$ n4 C0 P! ?$ |: b- Z% l' X• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
