# e# l4 o# C) j5 K# ^! Q! C1 N- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
1 F! B& d; ]5 i R: S3 @/ k- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
7 p# L* u f# G. I- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
+ p/ Y' E; l) O+ ~! \- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
# N! c# D7 T$ B6 K4 Z6 e$ @# O- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

* N: @5 ]! a, E1 Z3 s# |- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences2 I6 d, X" h8 p6 n5 z2 \, K
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement, A2 C) d& A0 X* q- s% l
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others7 F. H% B$ t3 ?. h% L9 M3 l$ J" m
- Experience doing program development# E ^3 e' e& Q
- Strong organizational and coordination skills& A8 S$ E9 m' d, f+ B" U
- Self-directed and able to take initiative2 I" F i( E6 D4 P
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
5 _1 U# X6 R* H- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license2 A3 Z% W5 @; E h( N8 J4 W

- Some evening and weekend work may be required
