- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth+ ~6 u5 ~: j# |* t; J1 `# b7 i$ b
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
! @9 q9 c7 a3 } C& y- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
9 G7 d. s- `# h% |: p* i1 H' R- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
& p8 p; v6 ^/ Q- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:, i6 b. C2 }4 q9 H
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences4 l N$ d) d/ W( |8 o# V0 k
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement3 z6 v. D0 F9 R( }, s, F; k
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others: u, F. y5 J1 m4 ~- _
- Experience doing program development
. c% i3 p. S4 r7 l/ j* G6 M/ f- Strong organizational and coordination skills* u1 j* R" @1 m( I
- Self-directed and able to take initiative
* g' |0 ~& i& f+ g- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
9 [ |" I/ g. W$ y7 P3 p) l- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license
