CALGARY - A fire has halted operations at one of Suncor Energy's two oilsands upgraders north of Fort McMurray, the company said Tuesday. t3 ^7 a9 a3 N, w2 H1 Q2 }

No one was hurt in the incident which happened after a fire broke out around midnight at its upgrader #1, Suncor said.

. `- R' {+ {& N5 BThe energy giant said the 125,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down after the fire, and it is currently assessing damage.

Suncor has been plagued by a series fires at its oilsands operations in the past five months, suffering three fires since October in the upgraders which convert bitumen into synthetic crude oil./ Q4 ?2 _, `6 _# S% W
