Job description:
; i+ v' A& w" L- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications" b* `) Z. b" }0 n- c
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects j8 f% l# s) o7 P- U
- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects `- q4 S7 b7 i3 B& K1 Q2 p
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
' V# q. h( ^( Y7 k2 D- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
4 Q- U) g$ r" \, ]; _5 W, P- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
