Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:; H* z# S$ Q# ^5 u9 E3 O" g, _& `
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again. ) _4 y% e& k- B% G2 ]$ Z
It is a cycle.( N: r: L: ~2 x3 m
M7 J. b) [& X U4 rWe isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.4 X7 c. D F; h4 F: X- K. e
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.

When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
3 @, u3 J9 ]9 {% ^Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
% v( H( H* ` |1 R% x; u! U7 v* yConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.) F1 o b% u! ?4 V9 ]
7 N8 _8 D* y- h9 ^, H3 }6 l; [The next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.& U+ _" x; U2 t
They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
