Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:' e! j3 u6 T( h, u- g
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.$ |; E7 M1 G+ A, _) H) L" ?
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.9 w8 O- h1 x( H( B7 t( A
The problem should be inside the bucket.$ o; B/ x2 U7 z; u U) i0 D
* ~+ j2 M ^0 s' g" h3 m; uWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.1 L: B/ n/ ]* W
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
0 |5 R& ~. E: R# P0 iConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.: ~2 k4 W+ [1 E' L( |, s% l; p

They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
( K& R6 A3 K% M1 B" C( r8 I It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. 2 c1 ?( c2 G" c3 U( ~

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them. - I. j) s. Z0 I
