Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2010

/ s" k, a# w, j: j- e& sResponsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
# }/ f# C/ C3 M; y) e, c; t-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Summer Program Coordinator
  e6 ~5 X5 G% _) p-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
  A3 S: I( j$ d( q# a' ?1 q- z! R-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
2 x7 s) }1 v# J( W0 i-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- A. g! x! |8 R( Y) N-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
