一对老两口有两个女儿，- s* `" u$ _1 g
The older daughter was married to a man who sold umbrellas, while the younger one was married to a man who sold straw hats. # k% h4 Z* s' @5 O8 _9 z
大女儿嫁给了一个卖雨伞的，二女儿嫁给了一个卖草帽的。
1 y8 z$ m4 V1 r7 {! NTherefore, whenever it was a fine day,
2 e4 `4 ?; L6 {# A: \0 `所以，每当遇到晴天的时候，6 @) n2 o) y2 z9 o$ m5 A
the mother would sigh: “Oh, it’s a bad day for my elder son-in-law.”
8 `. ]! g; H; A- E y$ f6 j. [做母亲的就会叹气：“哎！大女婿的雨伞卖不出去了。”9 k6 v* _0 Z; E$ B# @
But if it was a rainy day, she would sigh as well: “Nobody’s going to buy my younger son-in-law’s straw hats.”
' u' F% i' n0 c7 ^3 ~+ H遇到雨天，她还是会叹气：“二女婿的草帽没人买了！” ，: ?. J3 u) }: r! b. `
So she was never happy, rain or shine.
8 l0 ?3 E1 D" y7 ~# c所以，晴天雨天老太太都不高兴。: C7 F4 d0 X; z2 l& ~6 r
But her husband saw the matter in a different light.He was happy, rain or shine.
- U3 o3 E' i$ x; y+ E' A- l( ^: l可是老先生却恰恰相反，不论晴天雨天，老先生都很高兴。! J' v0 E9 B8 E. c$ o& G) S: B/ \
On sunny days, he would think that his younger son-in-law would sell lots of straw hats,1 W/ U. P9 H+ N$ K1 n, }
晴天时他想到二女婿的草帽会卖得好，; |$ U7 n2 o- j- ]& t4 y
and on rainy days he would think of his elder son-in-law doing well selling his umbrellas.
4 J" V& Q* e+ s% g& @2 m2 ]: i雨天时他想到大女婿的雨伞会卖得好，3 j4 b$ y) p c O7 O
In reality, happiness is a kind of attitude.

It is never far from you, depending on whether you are contented or not./ B F/ j) P* k c
