Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

End Result :
Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

% u; V6 l$ ]! t! O. u9 fManaging critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

' _% x# o; f# B" YEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

: Z* t6 `5 X7 K. KDeveloping and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

8 O/ }( x% v& ]; Y  c: MPerforming quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Providing electrical design expertise to projects,

4 b% [" }0 c- I3 kProviding project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

3 S% O- c2 U. G9 H$ nIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.  
Qualifications  
8 @! p" I  [/ }$ s2 d+ s' y Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.

& r# y  Z8 }1 p& o! u3 }10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.

' l  m* @2 I8 I& o6 P' S5+ years AutoCAD experience.

Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
( m* h% O! l" B
7 j% N1 n. m! r! q; P& W0 CExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
