Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

# @0 d# O$ B% xKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 @0 \+ c3 R! J+ G/ {6 c  \) ~        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
" F  c) r- q2 T+ G- ^& ~        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
% Y+ x6 \: s0 U        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

# K! n2 }! \& Z( j7 ~7 T$ SQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
. g$ v( M% F' j6 I9 Y•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
2 _  O$ F$ C; W, @4 s; }•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
0 v# e5 H9 t0 F$ T•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
9 R/ G2 W6 @3 g•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
# W! m3 v! ?4 a1 z) y" ~" ^% Z7 s•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
