0 _/ S& p6 j% @0 JReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

$ C* q" B) _1 v: m+ B( s- ^KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 ?) ]9 s: r8 I* W        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
# K# F7 {% D4 T  \. v1 i. a% t8 m        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
1 K7 ^& s6 x4 ^# a3 Q( N- k        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

- I4 G3 q( ]; ^% GQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
8 T" J4 W$ \8 ?, k9 Q* |•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
1 k5 l- v( _* c4 w) B•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
. i/ w- [) W; B: I•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
* \. {8 `3 C) d•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
