Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
$ S  z, C) M3 X: G1 L Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

6 H  r5 d9 u1 {1 x3 `7 ~, M2 \Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

* x1 P1 w1 s0 l" h! qWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

* g% J" v) t7 a% YProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

/ b7 _9 U- S* _) zSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Qualifications  
6 {% }) k& M, j/ ?* x Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
& R( |% {; @/ c5 R. T, [5 s( _
! e: h3 \; O! j+ @: H# h8 f& }4 [9 I10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
* H: Z7 F7 f2 ~  o; ]+ {- T
Gas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

+ A0 ?! D3 V1 y% \! p9 p8 SExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
