C Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

( ~+ ~3 z9 M; B) I7 ^" \) h" S Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

/ z+ v( g* V8 m2 UWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

/ }; o; f0 R3 {( hLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

$ \2 H9 K* c; G  F: HWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;
/ Q4 C: f3 c* W5 H) S
Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

) j* \5 N  x7 PSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Qualifications  
' |9 K! A" l' k6 J4 c+ g Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
& e# S+ ~) a. v0 a* |
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
8 Q4 |# o9 R- T" I/ M2 T; f+ T, k
' [2 g  N4 u" j: C6 |2 E- jGas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

! _$ n7 |' I* Q4 G% q+ m+ `Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
" L% e2 s3 y) G1 Y* O1 v
8 ~2 g& r- G" {  F& ^. ^9 vStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
