* v* |3 ?8 v  U. B7 e7 uDECSA is currently seeking resumes to fill the position of Facilitator for the Transitions Program. The Transitions Program helps to support and promote leaving the streets & living a healthier lifestyle for women with past or present involvement in the sex trade. The facilitator provides: facilitation of instructional material as outlined by program & contractual obligations; plan, design & deliver instructional material to individuals and/or small groups based on client needs, utilizing resources and instructional techniques that promote effective learning; utilize a variety of teaching/instructional strategies – lectures, discussion, group activities, one on one assistance – to promote self learning and skills practice as needed by the client.

# E' o6 g% z' [  y' P( c8 m+ Provide clear verbal & written feedback to clients and/or Case Managers about progression of learning goals; assist clients in developing realistic job goals by combining skills, occupational interest/aptitudes; ability to teach basic workplace literacy, numeracy/computer skills. Education required: Post secondary education in Career Development, Adult Education, Social Work, Rehabilitation, Special Education, and/or Life Skills; a minimum of (2) years instructional experience in working with women who have been impacted by the sex trade, equivalencies will be considered, provision of a criminal record check required.

% `7 e/ A0 [% C; @2 gExperience: awareness of the sex trade/needs of the clients, policing, court, community resources and risk/assessment planning; ability to assist women with building community and personal support networks.
