Job Purpose
& C/ ]3 b8 @5 V* |! Z+ |. z% _2 Q7 ZEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
5 ~7 ~5 X7 Z. h# _operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
- F0 e  ]. k" u% f3 {! D7 Zthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
: j6 u9 T, j( j5 S5 I. D7 [customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
7 s! _/ ^7 N+ p  L• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
$ d) E/ |% l. e- O. x( M• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
3 q# w' P; K9 X% \# Hlooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
( O  h$ I8 z6 i1 x* q• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
0 C2 b, F7 k- ^( _4 o• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and

Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings

! u+ k4 r1 Y' p" ]6 h& i( O, l% Q5 Y6 @• Comfortable climbing ladders
