Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
4 R: G1 Y/ O% HPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
" t1 r5 k; f* a8 O/ z- sUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
/ b% M5 e. K" h# Y9 P; c9 y6 jExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants 0 R: A6 F2 b V- P y
Excellent communication and negotiation skills ; k* k2 s) q; w9 u! X% w2 s
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments ! j& s4 O9 R, E
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market4 Y4 o9 x3 h# _. l9 @, `) ^( ^6 G
