Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
! X4 B+ g' P. p7 lPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields ) K7 j4 k* N5 B' Z6 u, k2 u' h! D
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
* s4 G$ ]& x$ d0 i. CExperience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
& `; l5 _4 L7 |6 j* x3 z5 ^Excellent communication and negotiation skills $ S7 X; u! |' S- I
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments 3 O7 P7 [" o& S) k* e: @: V
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market, K( j. ~ b3 G* d4 ` o0 K8 Y
