Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
0 j" s+ O. X5 J1 j  B- n: h( }Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
+ k) B6 \+ y; x% LUnderstanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
) e: _' w6 D4 l' t$ i6 A8 o1 OExperience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
  @" m! s. Q+ w5 \" B# e, DCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
