Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
/ y0 n8 o( Y. b7 P$ B# YManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
7 ?! H! V4 }4 `- g& z8 W9 |- T5 q% Jment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 w3 N5 n0 f0 r' `0 P# YŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
0 y. P# q5 T' Tthe organization;
0 D, l& p* }5 j0 z& w$ A( vŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
  E& }3 X. k  B' nŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
) R$ \+ L- S2 Lsupport;
+ w. f2 l* l6 u1 D" o* kŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
9 E+ t, `; ~& M/ l. D( u/ G5 M6 ^implementing staff wellness programs;
, U8 r$ H4 j& J* _2 Z' iŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
6 \- D3 I. W( t' W! K8 ]7 {Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
- }  g+ n) [3 w( x! g0 Z3 ~# ceducation and experience;
# i" y( r; v( m: r# vŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
7 D' h0 w1 M* Q8 x; K6 JŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
. \* D2 w% F+ o& U& zLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$ ~$ ]; k1 ^$ ?  E, o$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
3 k/ X" F; n% G# Z/ n( iIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
% b4 s* B# |6 t; Fsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
" j  s( G; b9 p, [driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
