Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
# X2 A/ f! Z: U3 f  Q6 xManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
$ {& U& p; g) n$ d6 dment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
# I; x* T' ]& I- A# a+ g8 p$ zThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
; |2 B9 l  `/ W5 S/ sthe organization;
5 S; P8 p# v) b! f9 ^Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
1 M" p5 k, f4 u8 g# h' W7 N$ K" T! RŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
1 O- Z# C6 K4 K' l  ~+ t, {Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 C& O8 C' W' L4 {. l( i: w3 AŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
/ h1 [2 ^9 n3 g& W; S$ s9 TŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
$ d' G, M% G8 ?9 \& u$ S' H! i, D, lŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
% u1 G4 a$ q% p5 S/ n- c! ~education and experience;
: F4 l5 W$ |& i* \/ S3 l0 E0 E; kŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
' _* W9 S. X! ^Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
% U  W* L) V" {4 ~  @+ q- }; L+ p9 Hverbal and written.
: ~+ q' S/ u. h% P9 c" ]+ ~) K  VLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
! b3 n1 ~9 Z1 h1 S$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
  S* z& b: E/ K9 D+ H+ IIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
