Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
: T2 ]; I  C! e/ c5 Q# O; M- ^7 gManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
; }# e. F, E+ F! F7 M& HThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
0 y# n, Q# Z& P; M8 S) IŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
% `) O/ f! l& j/ P; ithe organization;
! S5 k3 |9 }$ \! T4 HŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
( N7 A+ m! T& f1 J+ VŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
! A7 l1 n/ e! b4 ~/ wsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
. w0 C2 |1 o0 O. W* T$ t# J1 AŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
8 _% T4 I- o9 C# j7 rŸ Other duties as required.
9 s+ Y2 j$ }, F, ^5 eQualifications:
  s4 @7 L% i' t# T4 Z5 M+ mŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
3 B% a" m' Z" qeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
6 @- t+ ^9 M9 T& N' vŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
