Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
- E# w6 D0 I! p& fThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
9 V  R3 E  \3 r; \* k- rthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
# A# f3 a- r8 r1 ]Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
7 M; t, A- D  h: h4 ^support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
* W3 {! y4 O) ~; n( BŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
- Y' m6 d9 [7 L" mŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
0 w3 D! m& E- j, K8 E% ueducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
% ]0 E2 T4 j0 b2 p+ J- a* ?$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
! F) I. c" U# gdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
