Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
/ f( t; X1 L. a( [; w# X# \ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
. _' |  `# c# C- c, qŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
/ g  i0 U: t  N& E  T% H6 z* wŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
% M" z* Y2 M$ }, B) dsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
" Z: g4 u" M3 ximplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
1 j$ t5 J' |; Q: i. _Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

- [+ {/ f* g  [9 X  J5 y' oŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
/ |% w. T2 B4 j& i2 _- ^education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
' h! m9 R- R1 W  {' K% t- I! }Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
* v: m7 x* _. O0 f+ }: O$ ~7 P$ tŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
. I; r' P3 E5 V6 l. d8 n# averbal and written.
+ e& P! |4 ~+ l" V3 q, C% rLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
