Major Responsibilities:
3 V6 x3 F ^. ?1 V• Process research equipment design;0 y+ J# S5 v! u# d
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;2 Z) G) F' }1 ~+ [. R: v0 X
• Equipment fabrication guidance;1 G' ]7 l; J" D9 R6 w
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

- Q; H; A4 ^5 j x) c LQualifications:0 o4 A. T* b1 k1 F* P/ z T8 V$ c
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. ' h, G( @8 y4 a) ]* f0 G
• Equipment design experience is required;$ D& G. w2 P. ~; P
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
2 x5 G6 H% d. l2 e5 v/ K$ |) d# I• Familiar with CAD software;
% B- e' \! w, a: A+ U- h• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
$ L0 y0 r' s8 _% a w' w• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.. E* U9 T9 ?; q4 ]) x

# D8 U" @+ T5 m: E M1 j0 ]7 }Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 9 n5 [8 m' d1 ^2 ~, J% v7 o
