Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

$ M# l, b( ~) F7 PWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
! h( z5 G5 U" \' rResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

# Z+ Y. ]+ U" h8 a! m% K* cQualifications

Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
2 n& N1 A/ ]" F$ \3 v: ?3 [& AMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
0 b: |7 L5 C1 L8 N3 N$ T6 n4 a7 xMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
* X0 S: I) B; m# h$ `Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
$ m/ k9 A- p0 [  r7 i, EUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# k- j( v: `1 [% X, R: hCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
