Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

) \( A+ t. g; q8 mWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
. O. P2 z, s% O2 ]) KReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
9 \% Q- C: @: OResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
9 M3 z1 K! @5 G! }& QMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

Qualifications

Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
. H0 \: F$ Q* D; ]5 yMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
/ Z( G; ]/ s9 _. y: r( X# W/ a5 }Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
2 I$ I) |* ~( y2 XCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
