The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

Administration:$ {3 I5 v+ m( ?( D
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
$ k* x/ [8 ]+ u, g- V1 D; P' {& G• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
: O8 F" z5 F9 k" }) w& y3 O• Input and manage high volume of data
7 w: Q0 J5 g9 q2 p' [/ v• Update and maintain databases5 e4 w7 r' p6 g% Q
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
7 ^5 z+ N' m7 [* i• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation0 ?" l$ d# w4 Y& C' i) S5 I
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits* H$ l# S; t' H
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
2 Z( o( a2 O4 Q, y+ G0 R• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors) I/ J! X! F/ ^! }0 C- W
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre7 B) N; o" n; n9 `' _0 S+ n) P J
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure$ R8 b% g9 G+ n5 F
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS , N* X2 L4 f& \; R0 [1 [; v
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ G* ^9 | O# j* C B" S
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work/ P& u% a2 N+ y' ^ V$ @- ~" \( p9 J
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities
