The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team. s( f! d2 @" ~6 \

0 b9 i8 U6 p7 k: N& u# k1 S7 b" v; b• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
; n+ f/ a" l p5 q# \• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
/ q+ F0 y5 z2 ~• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
% s3 X [1 I1 z• Input and manage high volume of data
, X( d; n7 `! m& k/ \' a• Update and maintain databases
- C0 G% ?2 o' x5 V5 c• Generate monthly reports and statistics
# I0 ?7 D, L+ d1 v+ e2 ~% D6 a• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation8 t3 ~9 E& Z- Q' w
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
5 s6 b( Q- m4 _0 `• Write and revise business correspondence and forms* g* x- Z- h7 t! ^, Z1 I- ? P
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
; a. Y) a5 n9 P* D$ P: x& ?• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
; R) f. v6 O3 ^9 H• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:* _5 B+ p- N1 y& b

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
' r1 p& W' ~6 s, f* m• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 9 ?- Q' t O! [3 C
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9 H; i+ s% w) J& }4 U" C& W# J• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
' Q. X L6 B& a- V0 H• Able to interact positively with a diverse population, `/ R' K" B" M; m* I" t
• Strong customer service skills3 x0 Z. K$ V% l9 H& {$ ]
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
