The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

Reception:/ z- @) V& Z' I8 m; v* ^
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
; T" X1 {& L0 n1 S) \• Answer multi line telephone system' c" Z) n: @. i D$ R

Administration:- _' M8 o+ x: V; e# x6 L
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads, ]- Y- d9 v2 D5 M2 i- K
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
; S( h3 v# R: a4 V0 P& G• Input and manage high volume of data* k+ O* r9 Q) W! R! n" P J
• Update and maintain databases
5 a' {7 X7 ^# N) r% G4 S# q1 L• Generate monthly reports and statistics
) X* \# ]# F7 D6 T7 d• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation6 {! J! ^5 A' F- X* k. c
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits- S' [. Q% j7 y) F. n
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms1 K4 d# o+ w3 R. _8 Q. l
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors h7 z( S! n" M; o0 y7 M! f
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
! n8 ?9 h& i$ u8 m5 z: h• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients8 e' } d& I6 f7 t/ \9 a* t% G8 ~

! Z8 f9 H# G0 l4 }% a# `5 K: ^1 ^• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure( f! M" `; ?' f* i
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
! s- ?! @6 d" |* A, Z0 q9 h0 f1 E• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
; l& a0 Z& j* S• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work- [$ C: F: m' R% V
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population6 @0 L8 y2 i4 \$ a' P- N9 {7 z
• Strong customer service skills
