 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
# V+ C6 v# W; K. Z" y8 k Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.5 ?8 Q, R" u+ E! R
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.6 S" o" x% F) A1 b, q6 L
 Completing required paperwork.) l% ]4 g+ G3 \+ D
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
, e* b$ p$ g8 T$ o Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.' [; y) b0 @9 v. o
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
/ B" U( l+ v: u Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
: y9 H% Y, Z3 w Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
" `/ b- ^' b, K( v- w Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.- r& w, K0 w+ w7 a
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
' g. L. o0 {) l9 g' g Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills./ h' {9 S- k( a7 F2 F- n5 o
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
8 c% i9 F1 u. N- S; h Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.

 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.; C O ~$ x# U
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
