2 ]% u6 S0 s, x! Z# U- N Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
! z! U' P9 B R7 O- ? Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.( l* Z! R8 I9 b# n
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
2 Q/ b3 P* z; t5 a4 D2 b9 N Completing required paperwork.
5 K+ V( _6 m! ?$ v+ z7 O9 |7 s Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
8 }) o& ~' e2 J* z; T2 U Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.4 D: c( L3 F9 b8 z% q
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 0 a% o+ B; w& ?& ^
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

3 R! c4 Y4 S M; q7 Y Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.# S9 v* S1 u0 A, M1 v9 Z
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
' _ W, J' g# B$ r* P1 R Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.7 @5 @% r1 O9 \* X# [4 K
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
+ b( G9 E" a4 |& r2 F) G Knowledge of community resources.1 x" M) Q4 q0 S, S. h7 c( I
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.+ |% J1 g; M, U: Z0 R3 P
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. # d8 Y( b" G$ H" R

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
