■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations., V \+ x9 [! P
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
8 a# x, C% A* B8 ~■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships/ \, `7 y3 P8 S
Experience and Education:
* ?0 Q! v0 Q0 R# f, w* J) O8 r■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.! H# H2 ~& j/ C/ `; H
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.+ A3 H# A( A/ K! h# l) m
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.- G8 L3 \+ d8 _! u# q3 Y/ [
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
4 W: F' D; u* Y) ^ s" Q2 d. M■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
& j9 A$ s/ T% Z, Q& J5 _; w- P■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices./ B% n* W6 ]3 D! G; `, C. N
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
