■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.- E! r) U5 k( l2 E
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
7 d& ~! v, }; jExperience and Education:
$ Y+ d' S) |: P2 F■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
i* V0 S9 S! Q; V! C) H7 x5 T■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.# t' C d3 \( d+ k/ g0 Q2 j
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.# f/ I5 T$ H; W+ T- z& X2 u1 R
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings; j9 {6 _8 F; W8 X
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;% l: ^! \- K8 U4 O5 s! R5 J
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.3 y* N: Y* {6 m: b
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
