Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

$ a$ `& _1 o" j  s■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
' O3 A; n2 ]- K, G' b3 e* n+ v■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
3 X4 ]% F* J# W& O3 A6 O■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
* t; i% V; {6 V" z4 [: ^9 J■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
7 h: m0 r6 N  Q5 B& S■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
; z# Z2 i0 p! j8 k8 ~■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
  }) y8 R: r% j" o% g* \3 s3 E■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
9 ]) Y8 p* R8 J8 F) |■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
