■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.1 D2 M6 l8 e1 J h# W2 w
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.; h! o% e& s7 F! E4 P3 [
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
( P# b! f! l5 `/ QExperience and Education:
3 _! Q" G( `1 p/ Q+ L■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
3 }1 ^! C) Y' t. m+ ^) V■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.1 ]7 T" D' B2 l: s' u3 c5 s, {% U$ q
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.9 M+ ]7 \. ?; `7 J. \, m& C
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;1 C+ x, }) ]; \ H
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;5 K4 w! |/ e* A& W# X# [
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.' G" p$ X: t7 [+ V \# w
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
