Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
' k2 O2 g: f, c) @Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
' W) f1 j6 z( M) E# o" b( S& S0 q6 y. uPerforms related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
/ n- G2 p5 v0 {. [3 r; ~1 @: _Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
! i; O7 i0 L$ U0 ~' U# ?Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
" w* H. C* L' i. z6 fKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
