Duties
& r* b* c, f# M3 S! V- eDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
" b8 X, D1 T2 a, ?. Q+ {- AObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
- b1 J& T) J/ \3 JEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
9 e& G& X2 \- DPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
) V( n. W( I" B0 s9 k6 KOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions( q8 J$ G8 i. O0 Q# j" {, \+ W) D) M
Performs related duties as required9 P- x0 W. m9 P' B, j/ ^! P! w
Qualifications
3 l6 I$ ?( |8 \* X- N. d) W0 OValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
