• supports foreign-educated engineer and engineering technologists, and

recognize their international experience or credentials.

The ETIP program involves four phases:

The training components of ETIP assist participants in developing skills6 }3 i+ z) w0 c a6 p8 m! J; e( ]
required for the Alberta workplace. Training includes:

• first-aid training, and

• NAIT delivers engineering technologist education applicable to the4 f& r: l# [+ n8 e
Canadian workforce.

As of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have
, D4 y: u* D6 ^% }* o% L7 Qfound engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta., a7 }% D" Z+ t5 @4 N1 f* I
In 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of
& y) ?. ^4 S4 `graduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,
