Develops and updates the graphic user interface including program interface (menus, dialogue boxes, file editing, etc.) using C++ or Java or other languages to allow users to compose run scripts and edit input files for a FORTRAN model8 f, F; u* ]( ~% v$ X, z
Generates dynamic visualization of numerical output from the model using VTK or other visualization tools, linked to explanatory documents1 g( `3 U/ ]! T
Works with staff in the MACI to determine ways to deal with the data and find innovative approaches of presenting results
9 T+ G% K. y: \% z$ {# x. P. tImplements interface and visualization on portable media (CD and website) for use in research and teaching; implements the mathematical model "ecosy" in parallel mode on computing facilities available$ N$ \/ J# i$ r! s4 m" t; T
Provides technical support to teaching initiatives at undergraduate and postgraduate levels using the mathematical model with the graphic user interface4 k! v g! W* j5 I, \
Installs software and provides user support; liaises with users to enable their productive use of the software
