When should I start to read bedtime story to my son?

Hi all the moms,
When did you start to read bedtime story to your baby? My son doesn't really want to listen. He is always eager to flip the page when I am trying to read.

我们家这个从小就是睡觉前必定要看书的，以前小的时候必定要读书的，每天一篇不够的。呵呵。

我家的14个月，有时候睡觉前自己拿本书，你看她翻的去说，她会有指，就告诉她是什么，编个故事，不是按字读，一本书有固定的几个图案是她喜欢的，其他也是一翻而过。

不记得从什么时候开始睡前故事了。不过刚开始时他也很急着翻书，我就告诉他妈妈不能读故事了因为你翻得太快了。then he try very hard to stop doing that.

我宝宝小时候我曾试图给他读书,发现他只喜欢咬书,就放弃给宝宝读书了.

我家老大从八九个月开始的，不过不是讲故事，是读儿歌；他很喜欢，可能因为而各有韵律，听起来想唱歌吧！

thanks for sharing everyone. Recently, my son will grab my hands and point to the book and I will read out whatever he pointed out. hopefully, he will enjoy reading from now.
