Position Summary
3 t# q2 i" i: h4 S! qUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team. h0 ^5 @- n! G: L
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
6 G; X! W' ]' M7 @1 AMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) ~* G+ t: Z& y0 R" e+ K7 a
- Y8 h6 ?% J% i. ^* h/ e+ X/ gTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.6 j5 [# g2 q9 F4 [; B7 K- ~4 l
; G+ C4 e8 _& r8 r, uJob Qualification
$ \& Y- G/ p6 `8 }* B! i0 d+ k2 I3 aMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services( k- t F, i- ^; u
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
/ _& ?) D' X* K" o" m g n! HSchool)9 x- P8 B7 }) a g3 u$ v2 k7 ]5 T
Must have supervisory experience
) k" }' h+ a0 e$ h% X1 C0 K4 @) [Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system( p% s% ^; ^/ \" F. r- w
Must be computer literate
; N% o0 [( K# E6 F3 [+ ^- V9 }" @ ~Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.; C& H' U1 b1 R$ F1 n4 X
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
* c3 L5 S; D' A7 M& X6 ?2 {7 t2 NMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills2 k; e; q. C' Q8 n' G2 `* z
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
' b+ H' {5 H2 z' Hestablish team.
