Position Summary
3 B+ j5 y D" jUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team& W2 a$ m( N; @8 Y' A' ]
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal5 `( U- b% x* v4 E
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
/ K( P* D+ T, A6 e4 a! X2 I& d0 H/ a1 _' L; ~/ b( G( ^
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
7 d' t- ]: P; X0 s- D: ]+ B% bMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
; Z( d: a1 D8 N7 c/ uMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s- ~' U; B$ Q* s6 h7 |! I
School)! |- U2 b/ d' Y4 Y; m K4 \
Must have supervisory experience& x- y+ _6 _6 k' B
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
) T* c8 Q7 c/ T1 O2 n+ xMust be computer literate9 v F! O. b7 d4 k; H+ ^
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
- e1 I6 w# x! O$ Z4 P1 h0 K& {Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network$ b% i$ T$ H Q9 h4 a8 T! ]
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
. e! a) i) |) a5 f" NMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already+ X* Y7 \4 V( X3 c0 j6 o$ f# Z
establish team.
