Graphic Design Specialist

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 x6 z: J" ^$ c* O- g0 x, A/ I•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

& X4 Z: V: @2 V9 ~SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
8 p, S7 `& i7 e  \8 {+ C1 S- t•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
' F& S$ m8 p3 u9 W- j•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
2 S# F$ r& ~; v# A) R•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
