 Support newcomers participation in the settlement program.

 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.

Assessment Officer

 Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.! H8 o: A' Q: Z# J  ]* b& _' k
 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.
( p, H) f& k/ \: m Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.& `  U, |3 {  u- R' _
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.  F0 c% J9 u5 r6 E
 Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

 Ensure participants’ progress is tracked and recorded

 Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada

 Complete participant reviews with the participants
