This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

1) Worst: Cameron Heights
Main entrance on AH

, k+ C# ~( O4 O# e  @$ w+ t2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3 x% R/ ?0 u9 @; f  w' ^# f3) So So:  Magrath etc.
$ b+ M, p* Z0 h$ k" lMain entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
0 R$ a: _# K0 }  _9 VMajor roads on 2 sides
4 T7 d, h. I2 p$ n
( Y0 ]) u  f: t$ ?0 J- |' b% W4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
8 A( k5 p2 R0 z% W3 c: rMain entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
" h8 `6 F- {  N8 K) j% b; gNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
: _+ _3 _0 W. S- K# q* ~+ No condo in view
