This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

2) Worse: Terwillegar Garderns
& M  D0 S6 w0 tMajor roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
3 m% h& E8 p/ t1 D& Z* \Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
0 {- o/ |9 A" y% Q2 k) q- zMajor roads on 2 sides
+ {% T, U. g; |, \' _$ w# I( g
& s/ g0 X* [- {" U0 w4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
* E- X% k$ g" [  Z/ s2 x/ V; O9 \Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
' ^8 [% L& G  F0 V% U6 j! }No Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.

( A+ Z1 z3 P- P! u4 Q! C5) Best: Windermere Ridge
Same as 4.
+ all in one cul-de-sac
+ DC1/DC2 zoning
+ No condo in view
